Lovely shot here of 1 of our youngest BMB supporters Charlotte Masters, giving her approval of the trophys ready for the Annual 2017 McDonald and Co Snapper Classic held in Whitianga last weekend.<br />

Ok team so want to share a lil something that is quite special to Barb and I. <br />
<br />
The "McDonald and Co Snapper Classic" is in Memory of Neil McDonald who sadly lost his fight with cancer in May,2015. Held in Whitianga , it holds special significance to the family, with Neil's ashes scattered in the bay and a memorial plaque on a bench seat overlooking the boat ramp and playground where Charlotte(Neil's Granddaughter) frequents on holidays.<br />
There are 2 divisions: Kids wharf held over 2 days,ages from 22mths to 9 yrs where they slayed kahawai ,herring, spotty's, seaweed and even a starfish!.<br />
The adults went aboard MV Gint with Mavis Bryant,a local charter operator to catch Snapper, kahawai ,terakihi,and blue cod. Great day had by all, heaps of banter, shit stirring, laughter and fond memories shared.<br />
<br />
So on behalf of Barb, Drew and the whole Bite My Bits Tackle Crew we want to say that we are proud to call you mates, we really do appreciate the friendship we have forged over the last couple of years guys and look forward to catching up soon. Cheers.
