With the weather looking so mint this weekend, its the perfect time to get out and try your luck in this great local comp. So get the girls together for a fun day on the water and awesome night. To all our Surf-casting crew out there...25th Feb, $40,000 in prizes. This is the BIGGEST 1 day surf comp in NZ. Come down, bring the family and try your luck. We will be there with our pop-up shop so come over and check out our gear and grab a bargain

Here's a great fishing weekend for the whole family. Get down to Wanganui on the 24th & 25th February for the Monster of all comps. Saturday 24th is the warm up, a Kahawai competition for the whole family to get involved in. $6000 in sponsors prizes for 1st to 10th. Then the BIG 1... the Biggest 1 day Surf-Casting Comp in the country. The Monster Surf Casting Competition with $40,000 in prizes on the Sunday. So come down and get involved team, we'll be there again this year with our stand full of BMB Tackle so come over, meet the team and grab yourself some gear.

Feeling a bit proud of Mum today, 83yrs and smashing her Kahawai PB with this Whoppa weighing in at 3.12kg on the trusty White Willy Flasher Rig. A massive effort and great tussle on light gear. Love it!! lol

Something a bit different after a day on the water, a plan was set to get fuel for the boat at Awanui. After filling tank and having a chat to local Servo lady,then a passing fisherman, decided to get a feed and beverage and head up to 90 mile beach for dinner and a walk. What a great way to finish the day and the weather has been awesome.
